About Sparkling Dolphins Inn Kyoto

Address: Kamigoreicho 56,Higashi Kujyo, Minami-ku, Kyoto, Japan
Sparking Dolphins Inn was created following the popularity of Station Hotel Seiki, with rooms available in a purposefully-renovated building to accommodate a varying number of people, from twin rooms to 6-bed family rooms to 10-bed dorms. Rooms are air-conditioned and linen is included in the rates.

We enjoy a central location just a 6-minute walk from Kyoto JR Station. From here there are many public transport options to take you quickly and conveniently to all parts of the city.

A reasonably-priced breakfast is available; the money is donated via a Buddhist University in Kyoto to an organization which purchases malaria vaccines.
For check-in/-out, please come to Station Ryokan Seiki (just around the corner).
We do not have a curfew but staff do not work after 10pm.

it must be said that we didn\'t actually stay at the Sparkling Dolphins Inn, They have you go to Hotel Ryokan Seiki to check in.There we were told that the room we were to stay at wasn\'t ready, so they would put us in one of the ryokan rooms instead. This room was clean, well laid out in japanese style, and overall very nice, there was a security issue with the door not locking, but the room door was in constant view of the front desk, and was a special case, we were told.Overall, a very good ex Connor, from USA ~ 23rd Nov 2011

Nice place but no discernable security or lock on the front door.No lockers either, but the dorms were clean and there was an okay amount of space for our backpacks under the bunks.Would have liked a bit more wiggle room to pack/unpack, but it\'s a great place if you only plan on staying for a night or two.
