The Sphinx Hostel is centrally located in Amsterdam, in the middle of major attractions, shopping -which also includes the street and second-hand markets, the flower market and areas of entertainment such as Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. The Heineken Brewery is close to the hostel as well as the famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. Many other attractions are reachable by foot.
If you hop on the tram, you could be at the Wetering with lines 6, 7 & 10 in a minute; line 4 brings you to RAI Exhibition Centre in 15 minutes and to Central Station in ten minutes away with trams 16, 24 & 25.

Credit card payments have a 4 % service charge. The hostel is entitled to pre authorise your credit card before arrival and if it is declined, your reservation is no longer guaranteed.
If you wish to cancel you must contact the hostel 72 hours before your arrival to avoid being charged for the first 2 nights.
Reservations of 8 or more guests are counted as group reservations and in order to cancel you must contact the hostel 2 weeks before arrival.
Please note that we require you contact us at least 72 hours in advance to your arrival date to cancel ,modify your reservation. Failure to do so can result in your card being charged for the first two nights.

Check in after 24:00 is not possible unless the late check-in is informed. After 24:00, reservations without advance informing (late check-in) are not guaranteed.
Reservations (= / >) 8 persons are regarded as group reservations and cancellation policy is 2 weeks prior to the arrival date.
