This Hostel is a House and is located in a Historic District. All of the Houses in this historic district were built in the early 1900's.

Breakfast Is SELF-SERVICE & Kitchen Available 24 Hours.
When you arrive at Friends House, please check in at House Number 3. Reception open from 4pm-9pm but please email us and we can make a special exception just for you. Check-Ins before or 4pm or after 9pm may be charged a $25 late check-in fee. There's no fee if you email or call us ahead of time to let us know.
If you arrive 3 hours later than your check in time, you may lose your booking with no refunds.
Guests must be at least 18 years old. 17% Tax is added to your Hostelworld.com balance. We require 100% deposit on guest balances 72 hours before guest check in; therefore, we will charge guest cards on file for the total amount due on your balance plus tax 3 days prior to your check-in date. No refunds on the booking deposit or booking fee for a cancellation, no show or reduction in numbers. We have a policy to charge guests a $25 fee under the following conditions: $25 Per Rule Violation.
1. Guests check in early before 4PM (without prior notice).
2. Guests check in late after 9PM (without prior notice).
3. Guests violate check-out procedures.
4. Guests Do Not Return Key.
5. Guests Violate the Smoking Policy by smoking in non-smoking areas.
6. Guests violate the drinking policy by not recycling their bottles and cans in green bins outside.
7. Guests change their bookings after the 72 hour booking change/cancellation period has expired.
8. In the event that guests damage property, they will be charged accordingly, which may result in substantially higher fees.
When guests leave items behind after they have checked out that require storage, they will be charged accordingly depending on the size of the item as well as the amount of time stored.
Please note that when you change your booking dates with Friends House Hostel directly, you forfeit your contract with hostelworld.com and you are automatically re-booked with our private booking system. Prices are subject to change, and you will be charged 3 days before your arrival date. Long -term guests are customers who book at least 2 nights and who are scheduled to arrive at least 7 nights after the date the booking was made. We will charge the card on file 50% of the total amount due plus 17% tax on the date that you actually book. No refunds on long-term booking deposits. Please note that the 10% deposit is Hostelworld.com revenue that hostels never receive.
We DO allow alcohol and smoking - but please utilize ash trays and you must recycle your own bottles and cans in the green bin outside. We like to keep the hostel grounds clean.
Guests who do not check-in within 3 hours of the arrival time, may be subject to a booking cancellation with no refunds.
