Bodega is a relaxed and vibey hostel, music cafe and gallery in the heart of bustling Patong - the heart of the action on Phuket. It's only a 5 minute walk (honestly!) to the beach and the nightlife madness of Bangla Road, and yet we are located in a peaceful street, ensuring a good nights rest.
We offer comfortable rooms at reasonable rates and we pride ourselves on our top quality service and relaxed vibe.
All rooms are immaculately clean and all are equipped with AC, Fan, safe, TV, Wi-Fi access and en suite bathrooms. For guests travelling without a laptop we have a guest computer at reception. We also have a games room and DVD lounge to relax in on those (rare) rainy days.
* From April 1 2010, due to huge demand, Bodega will be opening an 8 bed, air conditioned, mixed dorm room. Beds will be available to book on Hostelworld from March 1 2010*
Bodega's cafe/gallery showcases local aspiring artists and musicians, and serves coffees, cake, our famous fresh fruit smoothies, Thai and international food - all at reasonable prices. Regular parties are organised to bring together local musicians and D.J's. Phuket has so much local talent!
Feel free to bring your ipod, hook up to our dj equipment and start your own party at the bar, or join one of our open mic sessions!! Come for 'Travellers Happy Hour', Meet your fellow inmates and exchange your travel yarns!
Through the sale of local artists work, Bodega sponsors art workshops for the kids on Phuket that might otherwise never discover their inner Picasso!
Our friendly team are on hand to advise you where to go and what to do, and all dive trips, island excursions and vehicle hire can be arranged at reception (We will ALWAYS get the best rates out there for our guests!). We are a favourite stop off point for the (must do) Phi Phi islands and can arrange various options to get there.
We (bravely) promise to always offer a warm welcome and that famous Thai smile.
