Renstierna Hotel & Hostel is an environmentally friendly hostel in the middle of vibrant Södermalm in Stockholm. Surrounded by trendy bars and designer boutiques, we are a 10-minute walk from the Old town and close to public transport.
We have just 10 rooms, all equipped with cable television, linen, towels, bathrobes and washbasins or en-suite bathrooms. An organic buffet breakfast is included in the rates; please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements. Facilities we offer include a guest kitchen, parking, a common room with DVD, a vending machine and laundry services.
Reception is open until 20:00; please contact us to arrange a late check-in (subject to a fee).
We do not have a curfew.
Payment must be made by credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) or by cash (CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, SEK or USD).
We are a no-smoking property and we do not allow pets.
No curfew - all guests have their own keys to the front door.
No smoking inside the hotel/hostel. (It's REALLY expensive to inflict a false fire alarm...)

These rules are new EU-regulations made for increased customer safety regarding the travel industry, and these rules prohibits us to use your credit card as security for bookings.
The payment you've made is a booking fee to the on-line booking engine and is a non-refundable fee.
Hotels in Sweden are not allowed to manually charge your credit card if the card is not physical on site, unless the hotel is PCI/DSS-certified (Renstierna is not certified), which is why all guaranteed bookings have to pay for at least one night in advance.
