Smart Camden Hostel is located in the heart of London, in trendy Camden Town. This area is packed with things to do and has a great, lively nightlife. Regent's part is just a few steps with Primrose Hill and its highest point from which you can look down on downtown London.
Shopping, Oxford Street and Central London's nightlife is just 10 minutes away by train. Other attractions such as the famous, ancient Tower of London and Tower Bridge are also only few minutes away. Camden Town Tube station and bus stops are just a five minute walk from the hostel, making it easy to get to top attractions quickly, giving you more time to explore the city.
Our rooms are en-suite with basins and there are also many bathroom facilities in the building. Hot water is available at all times. If you're hanging out around the hostel, check out our outdoor relaxing seating area. We also have comfy common rooms where you can chill out and watch satellite TV. Our newly renovated kitchen is available for guests use. There is WiFi available in common areas and we have an internet reception too. Ask reception for laundry service fees.
Our reception offers free tourist information at all times. We also sell tickets to attractions around the city and discounts up to 20% off some attractions such as Madame Tussaud's, Tower of London, London Eye and the London Zoo. Some of our tickets are FastTrack which means they have a queue jump. If that wasn't enough, we also offer currency exchange at reception.
We work our best to make your stay pleasant, comfortable and safe. Health and safety regulations often take place and we have 24 hour security cameras. If you wish to rent a security locker, there is a fee of £1.50 a day. We want you to enjoy a convenient stay at our hostel, which is why we packed it with facilities and services to best suit backpackers. We do not have a curfew or lockout so you can go out and enjoy the most of London's nightlife. In case of an unlikely event that you were not satisfied and have any comments or suggestions, please let us know in order to improve our facilities and services in the future.

*Security Deposit- £10 is required as deposit to cover for damage and lost items as well as late check-out fee. If none of these apply to you by the end of your stay, you will receive your £10 back
*Check-in anytime after 11am and we can hold on to your luggage in case you arrive early
*Payment- 5% surcharge when paying by credit card and full payment is required at check-in
*Check-out time is from 10am. Late check-out fee is £10
*Age- if you are between the ages of 16 to 45 we recommend shared accommodation. Any guests under 12 years of age must be booked in a private accommodation. If you wish to book a dormitory for a family, please contact us in advance to check availability
- A pre-authorization is taken six days prior to arrival for the first night's accommodation. If you pay in cash on arrival, this pre-auth will automatically release. If you pay by credit card, we will complete the transaction with the updated totals. (See Credit Card) NOTE: Debit card users - please note that this pre-auth will appear as a 'charge' on your account, and a refund if released. It may take your bank longer to process than a regular credit bank.
- Credit cards may be used to pay, however we incur a 5% bank commission surcharge that is passed on to credit card customers to help keep our costs down. If you wish to avoid this charge, please bring cash for payment.
- Some services including, but not limited to security locker key rental and internet access are not included with your accommodation. If you would like a price list, please email us.
- Children 12 years and younger must be booked into private accommodation or we may turn you away. Due to laws of the land, we cannot take responsibility for children in shared rooms. You must notify us in writing at booking to ensure your booking remains private.
