An Stór is a comfortable, family-run hostel in the heart of the busy town of Midleton. The original building was a wool store, now fully rebuilt to the highest standards. It is ideally suited to explore the South Coast of Ireland. There is free car-parking in our own car park. We are minutes from the bus-stops and train station.
All rooms are ensuite and many include double beds. Bedlinen is supplied and towels are freely available on request. The guest kitchen and lounge are spacious.
Meals can be provided for groups in our serviced kitchen and dining room. The town's Main Street is only a few minutes away wrere you can find lively pubs, award-winning restaurants and great shops.
The hostel has a ''No Smoking'' policy.

An Stór is close to many tourist attractions. Ideally, it is best to travel by car, but most sites are accessible by bus or train. Cork City is 20minutes away. Blarney Castle is to the north of the City. Cobh, with its cathedral and Queenstown heritage site is nearby as is Fota Wildlife Park. To the east of Mildeton is the Heritage Town of Youghal, with many tourist attractions and wonderful beaches. Lismore, over the border, in Waterford, is also a beautiful Heritage Town.
All bedrooms in the hostel are ensuite. Most rooms have double beds. All bedlinen is supplied. Towels are standard in private rooms and available on request. There is one ground-floor room which is wheelchair-accessible and has a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. A spacious lounge has satellite T.V. a kiddy -corner and piano. Meeting rooms are available free of charge to guests.
The guest kitchen is fully equipped. Meals can be provided for groups , by arrangement. Under-age groups may book out the entire hostel.
