I had my shoes stolen. Also, the bags situation - kept at the end of the room away from the beds - made me feel like anyone could go through my stuff while I was out. Some staff were helpful, some downright useless when my shoes went missing.
Yvette lost her pair of black flip flops (not shoes) after leaving them on the footwear rack. A similar looking pair of flip flops has been on the footwear rack since the day Yvette discovered her flip flops missing till now. The owner of that similar looking pair of flip flops must have left the hostel after putting on Yvette's flip flops by mistake. It would be illogical for anyone to want to steal a pair of used flip flops.
