This hostel is the best hostel I've stayed in. It is in a perfect location in the hutong, an area full of character and convenient places to go out at night. It is about ten minutes walk to a subway station. The staff could not be more helpful or kind. They arrange trips to the tourist hot spots, but also provide advice on how to access the obscurist of places, and even provide upon check-in a helpful leaflet which contains instructions and maps for taxi drivers. Great hostel. Friendly staff went out of their way to be extremely helpful. Some of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in my three+ years as an American expat living in China. Also, great location in the middle of quiet historic hutong district. In-laws visiting from America loved it as well. Can't beat the combination of price, character, friendliness and location.
