Between the Alentejo and Vicentina coasts, at the end of Odemira area and right before Aljezur municipality, near the Algarve that still melts with the Alentejo, there is always an unbelievable beach with the mountains behind, there is that missing feeling of large spaces, there are paths that lead to paradise and there is that simple pace of country and sea living. Here you find Cerca do Sul, a friendly, welcoming, cool country and beach guesthouse where you will feel at home not only because you will be sleeping in cosy and comfortable rooms, but also because you will wake up with a breakfast that will last in your memory long after you've gone home. Also you can choose between spending the day driving and discovering outstanding beaches and breathtaking scenarios and just relaxing at Cerca do Sul by the pool, the porch or in the living rooms where you can grab a travel magazine or a book, watch a movie or listening to nice music. We're a small 2 person staff but as long as we can we are always happy to provide you with a light meal like toasts, salads or crepes if you would be hungry. Not far away there are 3 nice and typical restaurants where you can taste fresh fish or savourous meat dishes. At Cerca do Sul you will be gladily meeting other guests most of them in the 20's, 30's or 40's, but if you are over or under these ages there is always a place here for you. Please feel welcome! In this 8 hectares property, with large views over Monchique and the sea, perfect to relax and enjoy nature or silence, you can find: • 7 double rooms with private bathroom, TV, central heating, hair dryer on demand; daily cleaning; bed linen and towels changed once during weekly stays. Extra bed available. • Living room with TV, DVD, free wireless Internet connection, newspapers, magazines, movies and games. • Dining room. • Chill out room with games, with kitchnette for guests' use. • Swimming-pool. • Children playground in sand floor. • Dogs' shelters. • Baby-sitting available with previous appointment. From Lisbon: around 240kms/2h30m. Go to the A2 highway to the Algarve, exit in Grândola/Sines/Santiago do Cacém to the IC33 road. Before arriving to Sines, go right when you see Sul-Algarve indication, follow signs to Cercal e continue to Vila Nova de Milfontes. Do not enter in this village, go straight forward in Odemira's direction until finding a roundabout where you will turn right towards Aljezur/Lagos (N120). Pass S. Teotónio without entering the village and after 7kms, turn right when seeing the sign to Brejão/Carvalhal/Azenha do Mar. Turn left on the 1st road when finding a white house with red doors. Welcome to cerca do sul.
From Faro: around 130kms/1h20m. Go the the A22 (IP1) highway to Lagos, then to the N120 to Aljezur and then to Odeceixe. 5kms after Odeceixe, turn left when seeing the sign to Brejão/Carvalhal/Azenha do Mar. Turn left again on the 1st road when finding a white house with red doors. Welcome to cerca do sul.
