Some 20 years ago, Bob decided he wanted a hostel. A youth hostel, where young people from all over the world could sleep under the cleanest of sheets without having to pay too much.

Today, Bob's Youth Hostel has 150 beds, divided into mixed dorms and one female dorm. All dorms have bathrooms and toilets.

If you make Bob's your home away from home, the lobby will be your living room away from your living room. Here you'll find the bar, television and games, a book swap and of course other guests to entertain you. The bar is open from
0800-0300 am. The hostel itself doesn't have a curfew.

Everybody say: "Thank you Bob"

Bob's is a home to backpackers for over 25 years. In our lounge it is still allowed to smoke cannabis. The Dutch law unfortunately prohibits smoking tobacco indoors. Guests must be between 18 and 30years of age.

Payment must be made in cash only.
Check-in is at 12pm and check-out is before 10.30am.
Guests can use the luggage room for free and lockers. Lockers require a key deposit.
Prices are per person per night.

Located Near

Bob thought it would be nice to locate his hostel in the center of Amsterdam, and so he did! It is only 5 minuts from Central Station and Dam Square. The red-light is close by, and so is the Anne Frank house. On top of that, there are dozens of bars and venues in the direct.
Bob was wise in choosing his location: tramlines 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17 from central station stop right in front of the door, and theyÂll take you almost anywhere.

Thanks to his insight, you wonÂt have to walk too much. Everybody says: Âthank you BobÂ!
