Welcome to Hans Brinker, the cheapest, the worst, the best..no swimming pool, no roomservice, no pick-up service, no bridal-suite, no gym, no spa, no bellboy, but cheap rooms, a restaurant, a nice bar, a club, 24 hour reception and 500 beds.

The Hans Brinker Budget Hotel is the famous budget hotel in the city centre Amsterdam. It's located between the canals with a 2 minute walk to the famous entertainment area Leidseplein and a 5 minute walk to the museums at Museumplein. Public transport is nearby the hotel: you can take the tram to every direction in Amsterdam within a 2 minute walk. From Amsterdam Central Station take tramline 1, 2 and 5 to the hotel (in approximately 10 minutes at stop Prinsengracht).

This budget hotel can accommodate individuals, backpackers and groups (students, scholars etc.). The hotel has single, double and triple rooms and dorms up to 8 persons. Each room has a private bathroom and lockers for personal belongings.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the spacious common area. There is a bar and an underground club, which is open every night till late. Free WIFI-access is available in the common areas. There is a cash-only deposit of €5 per per person. You get this back if you return your key on the day of check-out and if you check out on time.

You must confirm your booking before 12 noon on the day of arrival. Even if you filled in a different arrival time you must call us before 12 noon to reconfirm your reservation. We reserve the right to cancel in case we don't hear anything from you by then! Please note that if you will be arriving later than the time you listed in your booking, you must contact us by telephone so that we can hold your reservation. If we haven’t heard from you beforehand and you’re late, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. No-shows shall be charged the equivalent of one night’s stay. We will charge this to the credit card you used to make the booking.

From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol:
-You can take a taxi to Kerkstraat 136-138 (35-45 euro)
-You can take the train to Amsterdam Central Station (3,80 euro, second class, one way). From Amsterdam Central Station take tram 1, 2 or 5. Get out at stop Keizersgracht. Take the first street left (Kerkstraat). After 100 metres you will see the big yellow sign ‘HOTEL’. That’s the one!

From a bar or club: take a taxi to Kerkstraat 136-138 or stumble your way back, good luck and don’t throw up near or in the hotel!
