We are the perfect base for travelers stopping to rest while they explore Anchorage or prepare for an upcoming journey into the wilderness.

We are conveniently located a short walking distance from numerous cafés, restaurants, live music venues, and one of the best breweries in town. For travelers desiring to explore the Alaska wilderness, outdoor gear shops like REI, Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking, and Play It Again Sports are all less than five minutes from our doorstep by foot.

Our goals are to provide a welcoming atmosphere for international and domestic travelers visiting Alaska, and to assure clean, safe, and affordable accommodations.

Base Camp is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport , which costs under $15 US dollars. If you prefer to take the bus for $2 dollars, take the Route # 7 bus and exit at Northern Lights and Spenard. Walk 2 blocks North on Spenard by following the tall white windmill straight in front of you. Make a right on 26th Avenue and we are on the left. This is a five minute walk from the bus stop.
