Our Australian-owned and -run hostel is right in the heart of classical Athens, an up-market area that is safe, central and door-to-door from the airport by metro.

We've got a choice of large airy dorms and beautiful, new, private apartments. Our beds are always clean and the showers are always hot. There's ensuites and privates for all rooms. On the rooftop bar, AB's famous Sheesha Bar, you'll get the coldest, cheapest beer in Athens, with happy hours every night and the best view of the Acropolis as the sun sets. With the metro from the Airport or 'Pireas':
Take the new metro to 'Syntagma Square'. change to the red line and go one station to 'Acropoli'. take the metro exit on the right to Athinasios Diakou. walk down this street for 30 metres, turn left into Makri Street, we are 15 metres on the left...can't miss us!
With the bus:
Take the airport bus to 'Syntagma Square', jump on the metro (red line) and go one station to 'Acropoli', take the metro exit on the right, to Athinas Diachou, walk down this street 30 metres, turn left into Makri Street, we are 15 meters on the left.. you won't miss us.
Beware of pick pockets at airports, ports and the metro. Do not talk to 'officials' on the street, pretending to be tax, tourist or other authorities. It is a trick to rip you off or scam you. Just keep walking.
Located Near
We're less than five minutes from the Acropolis, the Plaka, the National Gardens, Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zeus. It's only 15 minutes' walk to Lycabettus Hill, 10 minutes by subway to the National Archaeological Museum and 20 minutes by tram to the beach and Pireaus Port.
