Direction from Augsburg main station
(distance 1.8 km):
Direction from Augsburg main station: Take streetcar no. 3,4 or 6 in the direction of “Königsplatz”. At stop “Königsplatz” you take streetcar no. 1 towards “Neuer Ostfriedhof” to the stop “Barfüßerbrücke”. The youth hostel is about 5 minutes away.




Direction with the car from motorway A8:
Leave motorway A8 at exit �Augsburg Ost� to the direction Augsburg city centre. Follow this road, crossing river Lech, up to MAN company. There you turn left into �Georg-Haindl-Stra�e�. This road turns into �Unteren Graben�. The youth hostel is house number 6 on the left hand side of the road.

We are situated right in the city centre of Augsburg within walking distance from the lovely old town with canals of the river Lech and many other tourist attractions.
It is the right place to discover Augsburg, a Renaissance-city you must see.
Famous sights: The Fuggerei (oldest social settlement in the world), the Augsburg puppet theatre with adjacent museum, Brecht and Mozart museum, the Renaissance-city hall and Maximilianstra�e with three magnificent fountains from the Renaissance era (here you can also find various bars and cafes with great nightlife), Zoo, Botanical gardens, Olympic canoe slalom track.
