The Firehouse Hostel is located in the oldest standing fire station in Austin, originally built in 1885. A real, historic firehouse! Locally owned and operated. Started by travelers for travelers, the hostel first opened in 2013 after an extensive renovation project that updated the building’s interior with modern amenities. Today, the Firehouse is the largest hostel in Texas with capacity for over 70 guests.

From the Airport
Public Bus - $1
The bus stops only a few blocks from our front door!
Walk to the lower level of the ABIA and board bus 100 Inbound. Get off at 4th and Congress. Cross the street heading east, walk 1 block to Brazos Street and turn left. Walk north 2 blocks and you have arrived. Look for the red awnings
Upon exiting the airport turn left onto State Hwy 71 heading west. Stay on Hwy 71 exit I-35 N then take exit 234C. Turn left onto E 6th St Turn right onto Brazos St. There are two parking garages and two lots within two blocks of the Hostel .
Supper Shuttle offers door to door drop off and pick up 24 hours a day 7 days a week

Take the number 10 bus Southbound to the 6th and Congress St stop
Walk one block east to Brazos St.
