Welcome to Bastide Rose an old mill on the Sorgue River, a friendly resort in a remarkable setting, where Poppy Salinger-Le Cesne and her family are proud to greet you. Located 2 kms from the small town of Le Thor, and a few minutes from l'Isle sur la Sorgue, internationally known for its antique market, Bastide Rose is a resting-place that mixes the quality of a Boutique-hotel with the personality of a privately owned mansion. Bastide Rose is a place of special charm, located in a rural setting, but within a short distance of the vibrant city of Avignon. In the house you can appreciate the softness of provencal life, in the sitting-room or the library where you will find amongst the many art books, the private albums of souvenirs of Pierre Salinger, J.F Kennedy's spokeman, who lived here a quiet retirement. Our delux room is on the ground floor and accessible to disabled people, with a private terrace. Children are more than welcome but need to be minded at all times as we do not have a pool attendant and the river is close by.
