YMCA Hostel BB in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia

Hostel YMCA offers you a beautiful and comfortable stay in a historical city centre of Banska Bystrica directly in a heart of central Slovakian region. Enjoy beauties of mountains, caves, spas or better relax in pubs or visit interesting places of the city. Feel safe and welcomed by our English speaking staff and volunteers.

All private rooms and dorms have direct access to either private or walk through bathrooms. Great kitchen to cook you favorite meals or visit one of our partner restaurant for full course just for 3 Euro.

Enjoy company of other guests in the common area with computer and TV, read a book or relax in the sunny garden surrounded by original fortress wall. There is a grill and sitting area, table tennis for the active ones.

We are looking forward to welcome you in our home from home.

The hostel itself is a historical building, has a non-smoking policy. Smoking is only permitted in the garden.

Bed linen is free of charge, towels are available for 2 Euro. We can arrange breakfast for groups of 10 and more.

The reception closes at 8pm (late arrivals must be arranged in advance, 10 Eur fee) but accommodated guests are free to come at any time as they are provided with the access keys. We respect night silence and privacy of other accommodated guests.

All are welcome to join activities or cultural evenings of the local YMCA clubroom.
