Barcelona Sound Hostel - Be Hostels in Barcelona, Spain

Excellent Location. Even though its not on the La Rambla Itself, its just 7 mins walk to there. Its very close to the Paralel metro stop. The guy at the reception was very nice and friendly. the rooms were very clean. there was a strong smell of room freshener, and the person at the reception took a note of it. The kitchen was clean and stalked with basic utensils and microwave. The breakfast is very basic though. there are 3 computers with free internet in the common room. Situated in pickpocketing area, BUT that goes for the whole La Rambla area, that´s just the way it is. Policestation 50 m away so there´s always 2-3 policecars outside. Hostels location is very good, 50 m to the metro. Staff was friendly and helpful and there are safetylockers in the rooms. Can imagine that it can get crowded during high-season times since a floor share showers/toilets, no problems for us though in mid november. Robert, from Sweden ~ 19th Nov 2009
