At Mellow Eco-Hostel we understand how important is to reduce our environmental impacts and we have decided to take the challenge. We've already started taking measures to be as helpful as possible. Here we use renewal energy. Water of your shower is heated by our solar panels at the roof terrace. There's also recycling facilities, biodegradable cleaning products, soap dispensers, draught tap water and low-consumption bulbs.Air conditioning is only in the common area. The rest of the house was built with the ideal orientation to facilitate natural ventilation. Everybody's single gesture to keep natural resources can make a huge difference; staying with us you will already do your bit.We're located in a traditional neighbourhood surrounded by green areas fleeing from the city centre pollution and crowds but only at 15 minutes by tube. From our terrace you'll be able to contemplate the best panoramic sights of the city from a different point of view. When the mind calls for some rest, turn off the lights and enjoy our spacious rooms provided with free individual lockers, clean linen and fresh towels. From Sants Estacio train station:Take the metro blue line (L5) till 'Horta' Station, take the 'Plaza eivissa' exit and walk on Passeig Maragall avenue n�145, just in front of a movie thatre, there you will find the Bus 39, take untill 'Alt de Pedrell' stop and you will see us just in front of it. The schedule of this bus is 5.30 to 22.30, after must use the night bus.From El Prat Barcelona Airport:Take the train to Sants station. Then take the metro blue line (L5) till 'Horta' Station, take the 'Plaza eivissa' exit and walk on Passeig Maragall avenue n�145, just in front of a movie thatre, there you will find the Bus 39, take untill 'Alt de Pedrell' stop and you will see us just in front of it. In Barcelona, the T-10 has an advantage, with the same ticket you can travel by metro and then take the bus and pay only one trip, only if you make them followed, maximum time from one transport to another is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
