About Chinese Box Courtyard Hostel
Travel solo, but never alone
Chinese Box Hostel offers comfortable, affordable accommodation in downtown Beijing in stylish, well-designed rooms. Housed in a traditional courtyard-style residence, we have private and dormitory rooms, equipped with en-suite or shared bathrooms, air conditioning, wireless internet access and a key-card entry system for security.
We are located in a centuries-old HuTong district, within a few minutes' walk from a large number of subway and bus connections. The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square can be reached in less than ten minutes by bicycle.
We offer a number of activities onsite, including a free dumpling party, a Chinese family dinner party and a BBQ night. We also have a range of facilities and services, such as a free internet café, security lockers and luggage storage, a book swap and a tours desk.
*Note: Chinese Box Hostel is home to a number of cats and may not be suitable for those suffering from allergies.

Shelly and Joe very friendly and helpful with advice on tours and restuarants, position was great very close the the subway. Would go there again, thanks.
