The Happy Dragon Hostel is a relaxed, friendly hostel offering value-for-money accommodation in a convenient location. All rooms are clean, warm and comfortable and equipped with key-card access for security, television, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms with western facilities and 24-hour hot water. Free wired and wireless internet access is available throughout the property. Situated to the north of the Forbidden City, close to JingShan Park, we are a 10-minute walk from the Wangfujing shopping street and onwards 20 minutes from the famous nightlife of Sanlitun. Dongsi Metro Station is close outside the hostel, bringing you to Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven in just 4 stops. This Metro line connects many of Beijing�s major destinations, including the Summer Palace, Dragon Temple Street, Beijing Railway Station and the airport.There are plenty of shops, restaurants, banks and entertainment options in the vicinity of the hostel, and we have our own common room, bar and restaurant. We operate a 24-hour reception and a tours desk where you can book excursions and onward to travel to a number of destinations, including Tibet.

DIRECTIONS东城区隆福寺大街隆福大厦西侧From the airport: Taxi:around 100 to 130 RMBSubway: take the Airport Express Train(25RMB) to Dongzhimen station, then take the subway Line 2(2RMB) to Yonghegong, then change to line 5 and get off at Dongsi station. From Dongsi Station:Take exit B. Cross over the foot-bridge and enter the Chinese traditional looking arch. Walk straight along the market street until you see the big Changhong Cinema on the right (about 5 minutes walk). Keeping walking straight and past the next big building on your right, then turn right. Our hostel is 30 meters straight on(with red lanterns outside)From Beijing Station:Taxi: around 25RMBSubway: take the subway to Chongwenmen and then change to Line 5 to Dongsi stop (2RMB) . Then follow the directions as above.From West Train Station: Taxi: around 40RMBA new subway line will open soon, which will allow you to reach the hostel by subway. From South Train Station:Taxi: around 35RMBSubway:Take subway line 4 to xidan station, then transfer to line 1 to Dongdan.
