Dazhalan is the largest hutong area of Beijing and as such is one of the city’s most important cultural legacies. Some shops in the area can be traced back over 400 years while other recent establishments give the area a modern touch without losing its traditional spirit, making it one of the most popular areas in the city. Just a short walk southwest of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and many other of China’s most famous landmarks we have the ideal location for you to discover the city.
