San Mara's Hostel is perfectly suited in the main and one of the most beautiful streets in Belgrade (next to the City Assembly of Belgrade and Parliament building) in a 19th century heritage listed building and it's prepared to receive travelers, backpackers, explorers and others who wish to enjoy, relax, party and learn about Belgrade and Serbia.

We offer to our guests 14 comfortable beds arranged in three 4 bed rooms and one twin bed room where you can unwind after your explorations, 2 stylish bathrooms to freshen up, a lounge area where you can relax, have a drink, watch a movie, chat with the other guests or use the free Wi-Fi internet , large fully equipped kitchen where you can practice your culinary capabilities, big personal lockers in the rooms, a PC at your disposal, free maps, free coffee and tea all day long…

Private rooms:
We offer 2 twin bed rooms and a single bed room at San Mara's Apartment, on another great location (across Botanic Gardens) just 500 meters from the Hostel . The Apartment has a luxurious common room with cable TV and DVD player (movies available at San Mara's Hostel), a colorful kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a shower cabin and bath tub as well as a separate WC, wireless internet, free linens, towels, bathrobes and slippers, free coffee and tea implied… The check-in procedure and the room keys are available at the reception desk at San Mara's Hostel. All guests from San Mara's Apartment are welcome at San Mara's Hostel anytime.

You can easily get to San Mara�s Hostel by bus or tram.

From airport:
You can take JAT Airways bus (cost 2�) to Slavija square (the last stop), from there catch the bus 31 (get off at the next stop) or simply take a 5 min walk.
Taxi: between 10� and 20� depending on taxi union

From train/bus station:
Across the main entrance gate catch tram 3 or 7 to Resavska street (get off at the 2nd stop).You will be at the corner with Kralja Milana Street. From there take a left on Kralja Milana.
By foot: less than 10 min walk (check out the map on our web site for detailed directions)

Located Near

Due to its great location just a couple of steps away is one the most beautiful parks (Pionirski park) and promenade named Andrićev Venac built in honor of the great writer of Yugoslav literature and Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić. In a few minutes walk you can reach most famous streets and squares of Belgrade (Knez Mihajlova street-pedestrian zone and shopping center , protected by law as one of the oldest and most valuable monumental complexes of the city, with a large number of representative buildings and urban houses built at the end of 1870s, Trg Republike � the most beautiful square, formed around 1860�s, Terazije - the most famous square in Belgrade�), most famous parks (Pionirski park, Ta�majdan, Univerzitetski park�), monuments (Victor, Igrali se konji vrani, Monument to Knez Mihailo Obrenović, Monument to Nikola Tesla�), National Theatre, National Museum, Kalemgdan Park and Fortress. If you feel up to party Skadarlija ,the main bohemian quarter of Belgrade, is less than 10 minutes away by foot as well as Strahinjića Bana street packed with caffes and bars.
