The apartment is ideally located in the heart of medieval Bergamo, just a short walk away from the ancient Citt Alta (upper city) and Bergamo city centre. Nearby attractions include a quaint piazza with a 16th century fountain, parks, galleries, cafes, restaurants and prestigious museums, as well as the celebrated Accademia Carrara art gallery. The apartment is accessible by bus, either from Orio al Serio International Airport or the train station.

The apartment, located in a 17th building filled with sculptures, paintings and mosaics, is elegantly furnished with a double room, kitchenette and en-suite bathroom.

The owner is English and lives with her family in the same building. Wi-fi available. Pets welcome.

The apartment is 150 metres from the bus stop where you can catch a direct bus to Orio al Serio airport and the train station. The bus ride takes 30 minutes.

Located Near

The Accademia Carrara (with works by Botticelli, Mantegna, Raffael, Tiepolo and Canaletto) and the GAMEC Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are on the same road (a five minute walk away).

It takes 10 minutes to walk to Città Alta (the 'Upper City'). On the way up you can stop at a park with panoramic views of the mountains (Parco Sant'Agostino) or walk around the fortified walls offering spectacular views of the city below.

The nearby square (Piazza Delfino) features a pizzeria, a corner shop, two cafés, a new pizza takeaway and a general food store. Numerous shops, a supermarket and a renowned ice-cream parlour can be found at the bottom of Via San Tomaso.
