MAY and JUNE Special Offer:
Check-in on Tuesday and get free supper!

Katoomba Mountain Lodge has been recently renovated and provides comfort and a cosy atmosphere to meet other fellow travellers.

You can choose to be in a dorm or book a private room if you want some privacy. We have dorms for all budgets and pleasant non-ensuite double, twin, triple and family rooms.
Our dorms and private rooms are very simple and they all come with a sink. They are clean and sunny and regularly go through a spring clean to guarantee hygiene and comfort.
All our beds have warm woollen blankets but to make sure you don’t get cold at night, we have installed electric blankets on all the beds. You simply need to plug your electric blanket in and it will be nice and warm.

We have FREE WiFi and two warm lounge rooms with a good selection of DVDs and TV channels. Both rooms have a gas fireplace for the cold winter nights in the mountains.
Our kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your meals and we also provide free coffee and tea. There is a vegetable bed in our garden where our guests can pick up fresh herbs for their dishes and we have few interesting cooking books in our kitchen, if some days you feel like being creative with food.
Feel free to enjoy your meals in our spacious retro-chic dining room or on our lovely terrace, where you can have a wonderful view and or tan on a sunny day.

Prices are per person per night.

Just 3 minutes south of the Katoomba Railway Station. Walk down Katoomba Street, turn left into Church Lane, at the Uniting Church, next to Hostel sign.

BY CAR: The entrance to the Blue Mountains at Glenbrook/Lapstone is only around 50 minutes drive from Sydney. From the city, follow the signs to Parramatta. The M4 Motorway starts at Strathfield and takes you through to the Blue Mountains. (A toll applies at the Sydney end of the M4). The trip from the CBD to Katoomba takes around 90 minutes. We are approximately 400 metres from Katoomba Railway Station.

BY TRAIN: From Central you can board an air-conditioned double decker Mountains train. The fast journey to the Mountains will most likely stop at Strathfield, Parramatta, Penrith, Emu Plains, and then all stations up the Blue Mountains. The trip to Katoomba takes 2 hours. Trains generally run every hour and even more frequently during peak commuter times. Taxis are readily available from Katoomba Railway Stations or the walk takes 3 minutes from the station to the lodge.

Located Near

The lodge is located in the centre of Katoomba, a few blocks from Katoomba train station and 15 minute walk from Echo Point, where the Three Sisters are. Katoomba street, the main street of Katoomba, is just around the corner, making it very convenient to enjoy a great coffee in one of the funky cafes of the village or buy some delicious bread from our local bakeries.
You will also have heaps of choice when doing your groceries as we are very close to Aldi, Coles, BigW and Woolworths.
