Impressive former shooting lodge in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park; an ideal base for exploring Royal Deeside and the mighty Cairngorms.

As well as providing standard dormitory accommodation, we also have private rooms which are suitable for couples, families and groups of friends. Please contact the hostel directly for further details.

Please note check in is from 5.00pm to 9:30pm Sunday to Thursday and 5.00pm to 10.00pm Friday and Saturday and check out is by 10.00am.
The hostel building is normally closed from 11:00am to 4:30pm except Saturday when it is open all day.

***Please note our Group booking policy:

• When booking for more than 9 persons, different policies and additional supplements will apply
• Please note that no stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.
• Full payment will be required within 8 weeks of arrival as otherwise the booking will automatically be cancelled
• Full SYHA Hostelling Scotland Terms and Conditions will apply and be issued to all group bookings.

Stagecoach bus No. 201 regular services between Aberdeen and Braemar.

By Train:
Nearest mainline station is at Aberdeen.

By Car:
Youth hostel is situated at the southern end of the village on the A93.

On Foot:
Youth hostel is the last building on the left as you head out of the village on the A93 towards Perth. It is just a 5 minute walk from the village centre.
