When you wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the happy sound of your friends' laughter you know you are going to have a good day. Welcome to "Taurus" Art Hostel! Just opened in May 2011, art-hostel "Taurus" is one stylish hostels in East Europe. Taurus Art Hostel is situated directly above the Old Castle (Hrad), the heart of old Bratislava. Old city center is about a minute walk from Taurus. Art-hostel 'Taurus' is, cozy little place where you can stop for the night, have breakfast, get online on a high speed WiFi, meet new friends and have an impromptu live music jam. We have a stage and a number of musical instruments. You may make plans for a jam session at Taurus at our online forum. In the dining area we have a large screen LCD TV that you are welcome to watch anytime. We also have a number of convenient places for reading and/or working around the hostel. We have only 8 rooms and a small concert hall/stage where a musician may become a spectator and vice versa. "Taurus" Art Hostel is the only hostel that we know of where guests from different countries can make music together - sing, play instruments and spend time getting to know one another. You can make arrangements to meet up with other musicians at our Forum for rehearsals, concerts and jam sessions. Music services are free of charge. If you would rather only play for your own enjoyment, that is not a problem at all. JamHub to the rescue!Sorry, there is no smoking in our hostel! |

Taurus Art-HostelZamocka 24-26811 01 Bratislava 1District:Stare Mesto/pod Hradom/near the Castle/Old CityMost international trains stop at the main station Bratislava hlavn� stanica that have good connections to buses . Bus № 93 goes to stop Zochova, walking takes about five minutes(direction to the castel). The other station is Bratislava-Petr�alka, situated at the southern suburbs about one hour from city centre, this is the terminus for some trains from Vienna.

If you choose to make a right, then after a minute walk you will find yourself in Hrad (Old Castle), with beautiful panoramic views of the city. In the old part of the city you will easily find different types of pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes with typical Slovak food or just some cozy places where you can relax with your friends.
