We are the first hostel in Brindisi, always had functions of Bed and breakfast as well as hostel since 1961. Among the many services we offer a "Day Hostel" service. If your train comes in early in the morning (and most of the ferries depart in the late afternoon or early evening) we can offer you transport to and from the hostel/train station/port/beach. A day stay also includes hot showers, bed (clean sheets included), luggage deposit, and anything else a weary traveller would need for their day stay in Bindisi. The day stay rate is 7.00 Euros all inclusive. (Train station luggage deposit and a shower in any public facility would cost 7.00 Euros without extra services). Our young, English speaking personnel will make sure that you'll find a warm, welcoming, international, and relaxed atmosphere. We offer everything you may need for the perfect break during your trip. The building itself is open, spacious and airy, and there are places to relax, read, enjoy the sun, and of course there is a vibrant social atmosphere at no extra charge. We are also close to the beach and harbor and provide daily trips to the beach, drop off and pick up in time to catch the ferry. There is no lock-out. There are 2 TVs (satellite) and the occasional film to enjoy. There is also music and caring staff. The atmosphere here is very homey and enjoyable: you won't want to leave! Our facilities include internet access, phone (we sell phone cards if needed), laundry, library & book exchange, bar/café (open reeeeaaally late), private parking, darts & basketball, and a cozy fireplace to warm yourself and socialize by when its cold. There are also delicious home cooked meals for lunch and supper (served outside under canopy in the summertime) some of which are local favorites, and a small breakfast of cakes, fruit, juice or coffee. (Breakfast is included in room price) The bar and café are private and prices are cheaper than local bars. ***We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations, changes of dates or length of stay to all bookings or you will be charged for your entire stay booked.*** |

The Hostel is situated in Brindisi- Casale, hidden between villas and green gardens. Not far from the center of the town. It is easily reachable by bus (#3 or 4) or by using our hourly, free minivan service. Or by taking a walk along Via Prov. San Vito- once used by the crusaders who stopped by the �Tancredi Fountain� for the last resting oasis before sailing away to battle. From the train station follow the yellow hostel signs. (Walk from station will take you 20 min.).
Located Near
Not far from the port, airport, train station, and the beach. Particularly for those who are arriving by plane, the distance is only 1.8 kms (1 mile). Beware of taxi drivers: they tend to charge between �15-�25. The train station and ports are also quite near the hostel, so please call and inquire about our free transport before you brave the taxi system. (+39) 338 323 5545
