We are based in a most magnificent estate located in the upper part of town, in the area called “Botanique”, next to the botanic gardens
This estate dates from 1830 and was built by an aristocratic family the same year Belgium was declared independent.
The “Botanique” area is located in the 19th century part of the upper town, which mainly developed from the independence of Belgium in 1830 on as the high class residential part of Brussels, and became early 20th century the Brussels center of filmmakers. Our house hosted major film companies in these years.
The "Botanique" is also a famous concert venue. Many great and original concerts all the time!
At our place guests benefit of the settings of a vast historic estate, a relaxing and quiet place, perfectly located next to the Botanic Gardens to visit all major sites in Brussels within walking distance: all main musea, the Grand Place with, of course, “Manneke Pis”, the Stock Exchange, the famous “Sablon” antiquarian’s area, the covered Saint-Gery market (now a great lounge and expo hall), the Saint-Hubertus Galleries, the Palace of Justice, etc.
The house is easily reachable with direct access from the main international train terminals (underground station “Botanique” on lines 2 or 6 is at 8 minutes away from the Brussels Midi station), and within easy connection the European Institutions and all major business, convention and expo sites, like the Brussels Expo halls on the Heysel , Tours & Taxi’s, the “Square” on the Mont des Arts, the Brussels universities, and the Cinquantenaire, all at maximum 10 to 15 minutes by underground or walking distance.
Thanks to our strategic position close to the main national and international train terminals, famous cities like Gent, Bruges, Antwerp are within a short train ride away (commuting within the day is perfectly possible), and we are literally within one or two hours reach of Amsterdam, London, Paris, Cologne, etc.
This place welcomes a maximum of 16 guests at the time. That’s why we can give you special attention! Staying at Sleephere Guesthouse is like living in Brussels, as if you were at home.
No surprises in this place: guests staying at our place benefit the use of the whole house. All is included to make you feel at home!: high capacity WIFI all over the house, great terraces and suspended garden with table tennis and BBQ, television, … Guests can use all common areas like the kitchen, a splendid sitting room, etc. Plenty of games are available. You forgot your own towel? No problem. You are looking for something in particular? Don’t worry, we help you as much as we can. You want to drop your luggage before the rooms are ready or leave your luggage before taking a late train or plane? No problem: we help you as much as possible.
Our breakfast table (combined buffet and served) is composed of the best and freshest typical Belgian products: different types of special breads, many different spreads, juice, coffee, tea, chocolate, cheese , ham, eggs, fruits, cereals, etc…. and served till 10:30 AM!
You are looking to share a room, or you prefer an ensuite private room and yet enjoy the company of the other guests, or you want to book a room for your group or family? All options are possible. We are totally flexible.
All our rooms are superior ensuite rooms, nice and comfortable, particularly bright and large. The beds, mattresses and bed linen are of top 5 star quality. Bed linen is, of course, provided.
All the above makes this place particularly comfortable for your stay and ideal to meet informally other guests.

'Your stay and check-in time must be confirmed at the latest the day before arrival.
Opening hours reception: 9:30 AM - 13.PM and 18:00 PM - 22:30 PM.
Please note we are out every day between 13:00 and 18:00.
(Attention: No check-in nor left-luggage possible between these hours)
For the comfort of the other guests, check-in is till 22:30 at the latest. Guests are asked not to mix up landing/arrival time in Brussels and check-in time.
Check-out time: at 11:00 AM at the latest; Guests can leave their luggage in the house for the day and pick it up later any time.
Please note: In our shared rooms we accept guests up to 39 years of age, unless no snoring. Above that limit, we strongly advice to book one of our private rooms.
City tax not included: 1 euro per day / per person.
A proper tourist visa is required at the time of booking. Bookings without a delivered visa at the time of booking (for those countries requiring such) will be cancelled. This applies particularly to most African countries, Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan, Burma, and Pakistan.'
Important: your card will be pre-authorised after the booking is done and in case your card doesn't work , you will be contacted to provide alternative card. If the alternative is not provided your booking may be cancelled.

From the Brussels Central railway station:
Take underground (metro) lines nr. 1 or 5 to station "Sainte-Catherine - Sint-Katelijne". When you come out of the underground, walk towards the fountain with the obelisk (direction opposite to the church). After the obelisk, keep on the right (trees and grass in the middle). The Quai à la Chaux starts at the second block.
From the Brussels North or Midi (Zuid) railway stations:
Take metro lines 3 or 4 to “De Brouckère” subway station.

From the International airport:
Take the airport express train to the Central railway station. From there see above.
From the Brussels South (Charleroi) airport (Ryanair flights):
Catch the bus shuttle to the Midi train station; from there, see above
Coming from Paris, Luxemburg, The Netherlands and Germany, follow Brussels Ring West (Ring Ouest), take exit “Bruxelles centre”. On the “Petite Ceinture” (inner ringroad) take exit “Yser/Ijzer".
