In the heart of Budapest downtown we've created a calm, homey and intimate atmosphere where after a tiring day of traveling or sightseeing you can relax and really feel at home. We've turned a beautifully renovated classic Budapest apartment into a small hostel so that you can enjoy quality accommodation at bargain price, and get a glimpse of Budapest as only locals know it.Please NOTE that the hostel is small with a few private rooms and therefore it's NOT a place where you can meet a lot of people and party. However, if you prefer privacy, personal attention, cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere with a homely touch this place will be perfect for you! To top it all, the hostel is located within walking distance of most of the sights and is surrounded by amazing old buildings, so staying here you can not only see Budapest's history; you can live in it for a while.We are less than five minutes walk away from the famous Vaci street, a fashionable all pedestrian shopping area, and the nightlife and entertainment quarter, packed with trendy pubs, clubs, cafes, fancy restaurants as well as cheap eateries. Only three minutes walk away from the blue, yellow and red metro line stops, night buses, and trams to the Buda side, we provide an ideal base for exploring Budapest's rich past as well as its vibrant multicultural present.Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you with anything you need. Directions:IMPORTANT NOTE!!!We don't have a big sign at the entrance, so just look for the street number. The street number is 24, a brown gate recess right opposite Erste Bank. If you're there just ring our doorbell: 18. The hostel is on the 4th floor (there is an elevator).From Liszt Ferenc International Airport:Take bus #200E to Kőbanya-Kispest. Change to the metro (M3 - Blue line). Go 10 stops and get off at Deak Ferenc ter. Look for the exit sign (kijarat in Hungarian), it will be on your left. Take the escalators one level higher, then turn left and go one more level higher. Walk up the opposite right stairs when you get out of the metro area. You should find yourself on Deak Ferenc ter (square), then walk about 3 minutes ahead till you reach Karoly krt. # 24. The building is right opposite Erste Bank. Doorbell: 18orfrom Airport Terminal 1 (closed now) take the train to Nyugati Railway Station. Follow the directions provided below. Nyugati Railway Station:Take the metro (blue line/M3) heading towards Kobanya-Kispest station for two stops. Get off at Deak Ferenc ter. Look for the exit sign (kijarat in Hungarian), it will be on your right. Take the escalators one level higher, then turn left and go one more level higher. Walk up the opposite right stairs when you get out of the metro area. You should find yourself on Deak Ferenc ter (Deak Ferenc square), then walk ahead about 3 minutes till you reach Karoly krt. # 24. The building is right opposite Erste Bank, and the hostel is on the 4th floor. Doorbell: 18Keleti Railway Station:Take the metro (M2/red line) heading towards Deli Pu. station for two stops. Get off at Astoria. When you get out of the metro area walk up the opposite right stairs (there are two stairs on the opposite right, you have to take the one going right, not straight ahead). You should find yourself on Karoly krt. Walk ahead about 2 minutes until you reach Karoly krt. #24. The building is right opposite Erste Bank, and the hostel is on the 4th floor. Doorbell: 18
