The Rastel Downtown Hostel is in the safe space for the budget-minded travellers in a chilles, friendly and fun environment. The Downtown Hostel welcomes all guests with tea, coffee, internet(WIFI), best programs got the nite time and the kitchen :) We also have three 24 hour hot showers, and you are able to hire bicycles without deposit. No TV. Hostel is a big apartment located in downtown of the city. Every room has a window. Our goal is to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Throughout the years we have acquired the skill of making our guests feel that they are at a home away from home. We are located on Királyi Pál utca 7. This is one block away from the Kálvin Tér blue line metro stop.
If you are coming from the Keleti(eastern) train station just go to the lower level of the station and take the metro red line to Deák Ferenc Tér(3 stops), from there take the blue metro line to Kálvin Tér (2 stops). Take exit on Vámház körút.(right handside) tll first corner. Turn right again and walk until BORSSO BISTRO pub. We are at opposite side number 7 , inner yard 1st.floor (ring no. 8 outside).
From the Népliget bus station take the blue metro line towards Újpest Központ and get off at Kálvin Tér (4 stops), and than follow instructions above
If you are coming in by Nyugati train station just take the blue line towards Kobánya-Kispest to Kálvin Tér (4 stops), and than read instructions above.
From the airport take the public airport bus until the last stop (Kobánya-Kispest ) and take the blue metro to Kálvin Tér (8 stops).
Please ring no.8 downstairs.
Located Near
We are very conveniently located near public transportation, just one block away from the Kálvin tér Metro stop, and just two blocks away from the famous Vaci street area. The Citadell and the Gellért Baths are just a few minutes by foot away from our front door as is Liberty Bridge and the Danube. There are plenty of things to see and plenty of night life venues in our area. 24/7 shop 50 meters from the hostel. We are located in the city centre itself!
