About The Museum Guest House 2

The Museum Guest House 2 is located next to the Astoria metro station, just 5 minutes' walk from the Danube River and other important places such as the Grand Synagogue, the National Museum, St. Stephen's Basilica, the Central Hall Market, the Duna Corso and the Gellert and Rudas thermal baths. There are plenty of bars and clubs in the area.

We offer twin, double and triple private rooms as well as dormitories. Facilities include free WiFi, a common room with satellite television, a kitchen and security lockers.

Please let us know in advance of any changes to your booking or arrival time. Payment must be made in cash (Euros or Hungarian forints).

We do not have a curfew.

We could recommend this hostel to anybody. It is located exactly in the city centre, with public transport and various supermarkets nearby. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very friendly. They even transferred us from the room we booked to a better room with a lovely balcony! Anna, from Netherlands ~ 20th Aug 2009

I don't usually give ratings this high, but we loved this hostel. there was an initial problem with our booking, so they gave us (2 people) an 8 bed room all to ourselves to fulfill our request for a private room. the staff was super friendly and available at all hours. clean common areas, and you CAN'T beat this location for a hostel in budapest.
