The holiday home is situated on the square in the Manor of 'Jesus and Mary' so called because of the presence of the small church of ancient origin ... from here we can also admire the beautiful landscape that surrounds the town of Calatabiano, gardens naxsos, taormina, castelmola the sea of san marco and the majestic Mount Etna from which they have every year of spectacular eruptions. The apartment is located in the Manor Calatabiano in a strategy belonging to the city center .. where we can admire the imposing Norman Arabic castle, the Church of SS. Crucifix (called the Church of San Felipe) ... hence the Saturday before the third Sunday in May, the patron saint of Calatabiano, San Filippo Syriac, is carried in the shoulders of the faithful percorendo dizzying descent of the castle .. that will bring the country! i also find Calatabiano several such landmarks as: the Central Church, with its frescoes, and the wooden crucifix made in 1502 by Giovanni Antonio D'Salvo from school by Antonello da Messina also see the beautiful statue of St. Catherine made white marble. the beautiful lava stone portal of the ancient palace of the principles of Palagonia San Marco or the beautiful castle that overlooks the beautiful beach of Calatabiano.
