There were lots of insects in our bed the first night and my roomates private room ended up being a hammock outside. We found a new place the following night. The staff gave us a discount and was helpful.
Hi Megan,
Many thanks for your feedback. The insects have now been taken care of by professionals. Seems they must have been brought in with someones luggage or more likely sleeping bag. We do as that guests use the clean sheets issued on arriveal but sometimes these things get overlook.
Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you and i hope you enjoyed the rest that Cancun had to offer.
Regards ,
Luke.

I\'ve stayed in hostels all over the world. This one has charm, value, A/C, a pool, and decent facilities. My one complaint: the staff apparently is more interested in cooking itself dinner and chilling than perhaps controlling rowdy guests. Loud, drunk hanging out at 1 a.m. was fine. Loud douchebaggery at 4 a.m. was just annoying.
Hi Adam,
Many thanks for your feedback. Although we do like to have a relaxed atmosphere at the hostel, you, the customer should always come first and if this was not apparent at times, we the staff sincerely apologise.
As you can imagine, the turnover of staff at a hostel is high as it is mainly made up of travellers on a work exchange basis. However, we have implemented weekly meetings and improved training for newcomers to ensure the quality of the service we provide continues to improve. Thanks to feedback such as yours we will be able to deliver a fun and professional environment to our patrons. And believe me these matters have been addressed.
I hope you continue to enjoy your travels and if you are ever back in Cancun please look us up. It would be great to have you again and hopefully you would see an improvement in the service you receive.
Regards,
Luke.

This was a crowded hostel, full of people wanting to party, and seemingly run by Americans. There was some overbooking issue when I arrived, but the staff was able to fix it. At night, a staff member grilled shish kabobs for 100 pesos, which was cool and helped make the environment social. There's one computer and WiFi.

Typical Hostel: the 10 bed dorm was always dark, which is a plus if you like to sleep. Skype and internet was available. The mini-breakfast was a plus to start the day (8:30am..) Always someone around to chill and drink with you into the late night. What could be better: Shower, non smoking area, and noise level.
