Each of our 9 en-suite rooms is individually decorated, blending functional style with comfort. The lounge area features funky interiors flowing to an outdoor deck and plunge pool. We offer wireless, always-on Internet access in the bedrooms and lounge area. We aim to run our guesthouse with consideration for people and the environment. With the generous assistance of our guests, we support two inspiring social projects, The Keiskamma Health Project and Earthchild Project. Our environmental initiatives focus on the conservation of energy and water, as well as recycling. Our rooms have been designed with the needs of the holiday or business traveler in mind. There are 9 rooms which are en-suite with queen-size double or twin beds, TV, ceiling fan, bar fridge, hairdryer and a wall safe. Directions to Cape Standard:
Follow the N2 direction Cape Town. Take the Strand Street off ramp through the City Centre.
Strand Street becomes High Level Road -turn right into Hill Road and right again into Romney rd.
The Cape Standard will be on your left hand side.
Or
Follow the N2 in the direction Cape Town. Pass the harbor and Victoria and Alfred Waterfront on your right hand side.
This becomes Buitengracht Street. Turn Right into Somerset rd, which becomes Green Point main rd.
Turn Left into Hill Rd and 2nd left into Romney Rd.
The Cape Standard will be on your left hand side

The Cape Standard is located in Green Point, close to the heart of Cape Town. The guest house is in a quiet cul-de-sac and has off-street parking. Green Point is on the Atlantic seaboard, and we are therefore minutes away from some of the Cape's finest beaches, the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, the city centre, shops and numerous restaurants. We are also close to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), the World Cup soccer stadium and Virgin Active Point gymnasium.
