Navine’s Homestay is 25 minutes from the Airport and city centre by car.From the Airport:From airport drive towards the N2 highway (also called Settlers Way), take the first off-ramp and go down Duinefontein Road; after approximately 5 kilometers you reach traffic light intersection. You will see a bridge on your left but you should turn right into Lansdowne Road and continue past 4 sets of traffic lights for almost 5 kilometers ; at the last set of traffic lights you will see Lansdowne Shopping Mall on your right. Continue for 200 meters until you reach Wetton Circle. Wetton Circle is an obvious and large landmark.At Wetton Circle, turn left into Old Strandfontein Road until you reach the only stop sign, with mosque on your right. Turn right into Shaftesbury Road. You will see Oracle High School. Turn right opposite the high school, follow the short bend in the road, and you will see Theal Road on your right (the first and only short road). Turn into Theal, then turn right into Aylesbury Crescent; it is the only house with a balcony facing the mountain.From the City Centre:From city center go to the train station, bus station, or taxi rank. Go to Wynberg or Claremont railway stations, take a public taxi or bus to Wetton Circle. From Claremont station, you must ask the driver to go down Lansdowne Road, to get to Wetton Circle. From Wynberg, most public transport goes down Wetton Road, to Wetton Circle. (Taxi will be easiest for your first time). Public transports costs are lower than metered taxis ; you don’t need to use them ; with public transport you get to meet locals of all backgrounds ; ask them for help ; they will help you and make sure you get to Wetton Circle.At Wetton Circle look for the BP petrol station, which is in Old Strandfontein Road. Walk along Old Strandfontein Road for about 600 meters until you reach the only stop sign, at the mosque. Turn right into Shaftesbury Road. You will see Oracle High School. Located Near
We are located on the border of the Southern Suburbs and Cape Flats, a junction between different cultures in the city. Excellent views of the back of Table mountain and 15 minutes drive from False Bay beaches, en route to Cape Point. By car, 20 minutes maximum to University of Cape Town, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Constantia Nek. Centrally located for those interested in local cultures.
