Cashel Hostel is a well established family run hostel, centrally located in a modernised 250 year old Georgian house which oozes charm, Our rooms are brightly decorated and spotlessly clean, additional facilities a spacious and clean modern kitchen which links onto our private barbaque where you can relax and have drinks with friends,
we also have a 40" flat screen T V WITH 400 movies on our external hard drive,
Hostel has a modern laundry and of course great showers,

By Car-Cashel Hostel is on John street a small side road off the Main Street in the centre of Cashel. John Street is directly opposite the Palace Hotel and is less than 5 min walk from the Bus Stop and Heritage centre. Free parking available.

By Bus-Cashel town is on the direct Dublin-Cork bus route. The bus trip is approx 2 hours and costs around 14 euro. The Bus Eirean company goes regularly from Dublin city centre. The bus will drop you right on the main street about 150 metres from the hostel. When you get off the bus turn right and walk down the main street for about 2 minutes and then turn left into John St.

Cashel, a small market town of approx 3000 people, is not only famous for the Rock of Cashel, an extensive collection of rare books, maps and artifacts housed at the Bolton Library, but also for a great night of Irish music, song and dance at Bru Boru every evening. St: John the Baptist and the Church of Ireland, (both very beautiful) ancient town walls and many other sites of interest can be found through the Visitors Heritage Centre on Main Street of Cashel.
