Las Cascadas Del Hueznar is an area of ​​the river of the same name where a series of waterfalls and pools that appear to fall on particular waters known as travertine limestone formations.

Throughout these waterfalls, also called Las Chorreras, the river runs its course with plenty of clear water. This set of waterfalls was declared Natural Monument in 2001.

The trailhead is located in the recreation area El Martinete. Ascending to the river and the waterfall, we find abundant riparian vegetation, populated by a thick forest in gallery elms, ash, willow and alder, and ends returning to the restaurant El Martinete, taking a circular route.

The Natural Monument hosts a rich wildlife species such as the dipper, the kingfisher, the hawk, heron or trout.

It prohibits bathing in waterfalls. The beach called San Nicolas, upstream of the natural monument is the only place authorized to do so.

The Cerro del Hierro is a village and a hill and a natural monument located in the north of the province of Seville (Spain), to 786 m and about 5 km south of San Nicolas del Puerto along the road of Constantine and in the Natural Park Sierra Norte de Sevilla.

It is a karst area, rich limestone in iron ore, which was exploited as mine since before the Romans until mid-twentieth century, now declared a natural monument for its geological and landscape value and which is practiced hiking and climbing.
