Hostel Postel offers a perfect place in the middle of all the beauty and glamour of Český Krumlov. The cosy hostel is located in the historical town centre in an old quite street by the Vltava river (cca 5 minutes by foot from the main square and 10 minutes from the castle). It is suitable for those who prefer more privacy and smaller rooms. It is a newly equipped place providing all the services necessary for independent travellers. The highlight of the hostel is definitely a friendly atmosphere right in the middle of all the events. There is also a nice romantic courtyard with greenery and outside sitting under the umbrellas for a relax with friends. FACILITIES : Hostel capacity is for 17 people 2x double room, 1x triple room, 1x four beds room and one 6 beds room Everybody has their own locker. There are 2 bathrooms (3 showers and 3 toilettes) There is a shared kitchen with a dining room including TV + satelite (cooker, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine) NO CURFEW , NO LOCKOUT 24 HOUR HOT SHOWERS FREE OF CHARGE : - in the kitchen : tea, coffee and sugar - at the reception : towels are available, social games, tourist maps, BBQ grill, deposit of valuables, and storage for your luggage, WiFi (for guests accommodated for more than 3days we can offer 1 hour on the internet for free). FEE BASED SERVICES : - laundry - internet access - use of the phone - small goods and drinks WE CAN PROVIDE : - turistic info and related services - guided tours - boat and bicycles rentals - horseback riding - transfer by Taxi. NOTICE: Information about accomodation before arrival: Reservations accommodate and guarantee from the 11-18hod. If you did not write us your arrival time or arrival time will vary, please give us information in advance. If you plan to arrive after 18hod, please arrange in advance a specific time and reception accommodation by email or telephone. Fee 30, -CZK/person we charge the price of accommodation in case of late after 22hod accommodation. We can direct you to the best restaurants, cafes and help you to find out what to see during the day and what to do in the evenings. THE BUS STATION is close to the hostel. It is about 15 minutes walk towards the centre. If you take the bus get off at the bus terminal (last stop), then walk towards the castle tower. When you get to the square just turn to the left (the castle is on the right ), cross the bridge and take first street to the right and after app.100 metres you are there.
The TRAIN station is in the suburb of the town, but still about a 30 minute walk. You can take a local bus (about 10,-CZK to the bus terminal ) or a taxi (about 100,-CZK directly to the hostel ). We can arrange taxi for you.
