I was there in the beginning of July, and it was very cold everywhere at the hostel. So if you come in winter, be aware of the missing heating at the hostel

Hi Zanne, Thanks for taking the time to comment, good or bad it does help us provide a better service and facility for future guests. I am aware some rooms do get pretty chilly and that is why I put 80 electric blankets into a number of rooms this year but we couldn’t get enough to do the whole hostel. Although unfortunately it won't happen this winter I am definitely looking at more effective heaters for the whole hostel, those bar heaters are fine most of the year but as you may be aware we have had several cold weeks of weather and the building being the type it is does get hard to heat so we need to sort that out soon. All the very best with the rest of your travels, trust you also enjoyed your time in Canterbury and I hope we or one of our other 12 hostels can be of service to you again in the near future.
