Hostel 5 Terre is an independent youth hostel located in the historic center of Manarola, Italy.

This is an ideal base for exploring the Cinque Terre. The showers now are free, No more token required.

There's lockout from 10am to 1pm to facilitate cleaning. Our onsite restaurant serves delicious local specialties. We're just a few minutes from Manarola's train station, parking areas and ferry terminal.

We are close to several hiking trails and our position at the top of the village will reward you with a 360-degree view of Manarola, the Mediterranean sea and the surrounding hillside terraced vineyards. Hostel membership is not required and there is no age limit.

By Train from Manarola train station:
take tunnel to the village center, and after exiting the tunnel turn right, up the hill. Follow the road to the church square. Turn left at the church. The hostel is the large green building behind the church. (See map at right). The distance from the train station to the hostel is about 300 meters.
By car:
From highway A15 (Parma-La Spezia) or A12 (Genova -Livorno), exit at La Spezia-Santo Stefano toll gate. Follow signs for La Spezia, and then follow signs for Cinque Terre (SP370), which continues to Manarola. Cars are not allowed to park in the village or in the designated resident parking zone. Free and paid parking areas are located just outside Manarola. You may enter the village for 20 min. to get off luggages. The hostel is about 300 meters from the parking areas
