We offer shared 6-bed mixed and 6-bed female dormitory rooms as well as superior private rooms for families. DELUXE 6-BED MIXED DORMITORY Our Deluxe 6-bed mixed dormitories are air conditioned and well maintained with 6 very comfortable bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom. DELUXE 6-BED FEMALE DORMITORY Our Deluxe 6-bed female dormitory is air conditioned and well maintained with 6 very comfortable bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom. It is for our female guests only. COMMUNAL LOUNGE At Vedanta Wake up!, we offer you an environment to meet fellow travelers in our common lounge which is fully equipped with free Wi-Fi, a flat screen tv, movies, book exchange libraries, guitars, board games, maps and eateries. Our snack bar will provide you with hygienic and sumptuous meals cooked by our in-house chefs any time of the day at a very minimum charge. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES We encourage our guests to socialize and get to know each other through local bar crawls, sight-seeing trips, dinner outings, movie nights, karaoke nights and other fun activities almost every night (and there�s no curfew!) TOURS AND TRAVELS We provide assistance in arranging local tours and visits to nearby tourist attractions so that our guests can soak in the sights and sounds and have a memorable holiday experience. We also organize classes such as cooking, yoga, Indian classical music and ayurvedic massages. OUR TEAM You can check in any time of the day. OUR LOCATIONS We are also present in Varkala and Alleppey. Ours is a boutique backpackers’ hostel located right in the heart of Fort Kochi, a very short walk from the Jetty and the main bus stop. We’re at a walking distance from all local attractions, shops, restaurants and bars. Situated near the beach in Fort Cochin, we’re close to the Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Cathedral, St. Francis Church, Jain Temple, Mattancherry Palace and many more tourist attractions. With maximum emphasis on supreme comfort, cleanliness, hygiene and security, this backpackers’ hostel was conceived to address the primary concerns of several budget travellers visiting India. In order for our guests to experience our local culture, we can arrange for passes to Kathakali Dance Shows and Indian Classical Music Shows upon request. Our eatery provides hygienic and sumptuous meals cooked by our in-house chefs any time of the day for a very small charge. Guests can surf the web using our free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access. Housekeeping is offered daily and extra towels/bedding can be requested. You can check in any time of the day. If you have a late checkout we offer free luggage storage. From Cochin International Airport
By Private Taxi: We can send a car to pick you up at a small charge wherein you will be provided with the driver�s contact information. The driver will be waiting for you outside the airport with a placard with your name on it and will drive you directly to the hostel. Please email us for the same.
By Public Transport: An A/C bus from the airport to Fort Kochi will cost around Rs 100 and will take approximately 2 hours. Once you disembark at the bus stop at Fort Kochi, we are a couple of minutes away.
From Ernakulam Train Station
By Private Taxi: We can send a car to pick you up at a small charge wherein you will be provided with the driver�s contact information. The driver will be waiting for you outside the station with a placard with your name on it and will drive you directly to the hostel.
By tuk tuk: You can take a tuk tuk to our hostel for around Rs 200. It will take you approximately 45 minutes to arrive.
By Bus: You can take a bus to Fort Kochi for around Rs 10 per person. It will take you approximately 30 minutes to arrive at Fort Kochi. Once you disembark at the bus stop at Fort Kochi, we are a couple of minutes away.
By ferry: You can take a tuk tuk to the Ernakulam ferry station for around Rs 30 and then a ferry to Fort Kochi for around Rs 2.50 per person. Once you arrive at Fort Kochi jetty, you can either walk down to our hostel or take a tuk tuk for around Rs 20. The entire journey from the train station to our hostel will take you approximately 1 hour 15 mins.
