Good location! You must try "chanfana" when you are in Coimbra! Not really a big college party town compared to USA though.

The staff was VERY helpful in helping me figure out what I should see whule in Coimbra, and the best way to go about seeing everything. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean, but the living area and kitchen area were not as clean. My dorm room was also VERY cold at night, both myself and my roomate had to use our coats or sleeping bags to try and stay warm as we slept. But the staff was really wonderful about helping with anything they could.
