The hostel is run by a well traveled owner.
With 12 beds in total it's one of the smallest Hostels in Germany. We have the time to give you all informations about Cologne you need. Doesn't matter if it's for sight seeing or nightlife.
We are also helpful to plan your trip in Germany or daytrips around Cologne.
The kitchen has all facilities you need to cook a proper meal, including a lot of herbs and spices to pimp the travelers beloved spaghetti bolognese.
In the living room you find a computer, board games, guitars, book exchange. In this room smoking is allowed. All other rooms are non smoking.

It's not possible to enter the house outside reception hours.

404 Hostel was a \"gem\" to find. easy directions to find via underground. manager very professional and readily available to assist. clean establishment and comfortable lodging up to quality standards. kitchen facilities well stocked and avail for self cooking. complimentary breakfast included a great plus. no fee for linens and towels ...will defiinitely stay here again and recommend. since we 3 were not the normal younger set (over 50 years) this did not deminish our welcome James, from USA ~ 24th Oct 2011

great place to stay in cologne. had a really homely feeling to it and immediately felt settled. a pity that i was only there for a very short stay cos cologne is a great city and even better when you have a great place to relax in once the day is over. Daniel, from Australia ~ 6th Oct 2011
