Song Mountain is one of the Great Five famous historical mountains of China and is considered to be one of the most well-known peaks in China. Mount Song is generally divided into two parts, Taishi Mountain and Shaoshi Mountain. It is altitude ranges from 300 to 1512 meters above sea level (about 4900 feet). Each of the 72 rolling peaks between these two mountains has its own unique views and its own grace. The Songyang Academy is located in the north part of the Dengfeng City region. The scenery here is magnificent, with peaks and ridges towering over the east. Dengfeng Climb International Youth Hostel is located at the foot of Song Mountain and next to Songyang Academy. We have a mountain bike club and if you like outdoor adventure there are a lot more outdoor activities that you can do throughout the year. If you like Shaolin Kung Fu, its advised that you get up early and take a short walk to the famous Kung Fu School only 500 meters (0.3 miles) from our hos Besides the basics, our hostel is unique in that you can enjoy our assortment of fresh coffee, some delicious western food (including food such as steak, pizza, and sandwiches), an array of spirits and beer, or you can even come enjoy some meditation, drink tea and do some peaceful reading. From Zhengzhou:
1，Buses to Dengfeng leave every 30mins from Zhengzhou's main bus station (Time: 2hrs, Fee: 28 RMB) buses run daily between 6am and 6pm.
2，Bus: When you arrive get off at the main station, take local bus #3 to a Department-store (it will be the 13th stop). Next change to the #2 bus and take it to Songyang Village (the next to last stop). When you get off, our hostel will be on the opposite side of the street.
From Luoyang:
1，Buses from Luoyang's main bus station leave daily every 50mins between 7:20am and 6:00pm and it will bring you to Dengfeng's main station. (Time: 1.5hrs, Fee: 20 RMB).
2，Bus: After arriving in Dengfeng take local bus #3 to Department-store(it would be the 13th stop). Next change to the #2 bus and take it to Songyang village(the next to last stop). When you get off , our hostel will be on the opposite side of the street.
Taxi: You can also take a taxi when you get off at the main bus station in Dengfeng. The taxi fare is about 9 RMB. You can also call our hostel and hand the phone to the taxi and we can tell him the directions. Or you can print out our address and show it to the driver.
