Horseshoe House with its cosy elegant bedrooms are the height of comfort, after your long day touring, relax in our comfortable guest lounge.

Horseshoe House, 4* B&B, in the heart of Doolin and 300m from Cliffs of Moher Coastal Trail. We take great pride in offering a high quality friendly experience developed over many years of service.

We focus on the simple things - such as high quality mattresses and bedding. A private lounge with open fire, comfortable furnishings, age oak wooden floors and large windows overlooking the village and beyond out to sea.

For breakfast we offer a variety of options to suit most dietary requirements. With produce that comes fresh from our garden and poly-tunnel, as well as the best from our local suppliers. Served in our bright airy Conservatory overlooking green fields with a visit from Peggy our Pony and often a sneaky fox.
Horseshoe House is 300m from the Cliffs of Moher Coastal Trail which winds its way along the Cliff Edge 7km up to the visitor viewing point and 12kms to Hags head at the other end.

Horseshoe House is also an ideal base to go hiking and cycling the Burren (we are on the Burren Way route), the Aran Islands (1 1/2km to ferries) and we have a keen interest in all the local history and would be delighted to share our knowledge and point you in the right direction of the local heritage sites and walking trails.

We also have a large secure garage for parking bikes and a free car parking area.

Doolin is famous for its music and Horseshoe house has O'Connors Pub a 3 minute walk to our right and McGanns, McDermots Fitze's Pubs and Restaurants a 10 minute walk to our left. Where you can listen to live traditional music nightly.
There are many things to do in Doolin and a couple of tips for your stay:
1) Take the advise of the majority of guests who stay with us, 'I should have stayed longer'
2) There is no ATM in Doolin and the nearest is at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center, Ennistymon or Lahinch (8miles away)
3) Although a rain jacket is always advisable, sun screen is best for those days trekking along the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands as the Sea Breeze! has a tendency to burn.
We look forward to meeting you and we hope you will enjoy your stay with us.
Your hosts
Josephine and Paddy Moloney
