Enjoy the latest movies with surround sound, Wii games, foosball, a pool table, board games, a book swap library in our reading room and even free guitars to make yourself more attractive to the opposite sex!
If you feel like cooking we've got a large self-catering kitchen and dining area; we can also provide packed lunches and arrange meals for groups.
Drinks and snacks are available anytime from our vending machine.
Plus there's bottled water to combat that morning-after feeling after a night out on our Hostels Pub Crawl!
Our facilities include a smoking area, laundry facilities, car parking, an elevator, recycling facilities, a printer for boarding passes, plus discounts on all major tourist attractions, pub crawls every night, day tours and car hire arranged right at our desk.
Reception is open 24hrs a day, making sure there's excellent security at all time. There's an airport shuttle bus direct from the hostel, from very, very early in the morning until late at night - just ask us about it!
Our twin and double rooms have bunk beds. The 16-bed dorm and the 12-bed dorm are interconnected and share the same shower rooms, please be aware of this before you book. For this reason these two rooms are not suitable for large groups. Breakfast is included in the price and has a great choice of cereals, etc.

Airlink 747 Express Bus:
This bus will take you right into the city centre.
For convenience, get off on Ushers Quay (you will hear them mention Four Courts Hostel when the stop is announced and there is also a screen that will say Usher’s Quay/Four Courts Hostel).
From there, walk back in the direction from which the bus came, keep straight through the traffic lights and you will find us.
Single tickets for this service cost €6.
A return ticket is €10.
Journey time is about 30-40 minutes.
The service runs from 6:00am until about 23:30.
When you want to get back to the airport, the bus-stop is on the opposite the river from that stop on Usher’s Quay.
Bus number 16:
This is a public bus.
You can get off at O'Connell St.
From there, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the hostel and we'll explain how, in more detail, below.
This bus takes longer than the Airlink bus as there are more stops along the way.
It is cheaper however; the price is €3.30 for a single fare.
If you get a 90 minute ticket from the ticket machine next to the bus at the airport, it is only €3.10 and you can skip the queue to get on the bus itself!
Who's looking out for you?! ;)
It can be quite cheap if there are a few of you.
Some taxi drivers will agree to a fixed rate if you just ask them.
The more people there are in your group, the cheaper it will be per person.
The total cost would be from €20-€30, on average.
If you are arriving late at night, this bus runs every half-hour from 23:55 until 03:25 and then every 15 minutes until 23:55 again.
It will take you to Trinity College, which is about 10/15 minutes from the hostel by foot.
Walking from O'Connell Street:
Turn right after you cross the bridge so that the river is on your right side.
Walk down along the riverside until you've passed four bridges.
Once you pass the 4th bridge we'll be on your left-hand side, halfway between it and the next bridge.
There is a big sign that says HOSTEL so you won't miss it.
If you are still unsure, look across the river and you should see a big building, topped with a large dome; that's the Four Courts (not the Four Courts Hostel).
From the Bus Station:
You can also take the Luas (Tram) for €1.80 and get off at The Four Courts stop.
We are just across the river.
Alternatively, it is a 20/25 minute walk.
From the Train Station:
Take the 25a, 25b, 79, 79a, 66x, 67x, 25x or 51d Bus, for 2 stops (€1.95).
The Luas also runs between Heuston and The Four Courts stop, again, at €1.80.
The walk would be about 20 minutes.
From Dublin Ferry Port:
Take the 53 Bus for 17 stops (€1.95) to Talbot Street, Gardiner Street.
From there take the Red Luas towards Tallaght or Saggart for 3 stops (€1.80) to The Four Courts.
We are across the river from The Four Courts.
If you are driving follow the signs to the city centre which will lead you to the south bank of the River Liffey, pass four traffic bridges and we are on the left!
Getting from the hostel back to the Airport:
Have you got a ridiculously early flight out of Dublin?
We have an airport shuttle bus service that leaves from our hostel every 30 minutes from 03:30 – 11:00.
The journey takes 30 minutes and costs €7 per person.
Just book it through reception the day before you leave.
Precious sleeping time saved! Yaaahh.
