We want all our guests to have a great visit to Dublin! Our friendly staff is happy to help you out with questions, ideas and guide you to the sights, best restaurants, pubs, and clubs in Dublin. Many of them are just around the corner. We also offer tours so you can explore the rest of Ireland! Our staff can book them for you and answer your questions.
Linen is free and you'll find free city maps in reception. Choose between eleven room types: Mixed dorms, female's only, private dorms and private doubles/twins.
We're tucked away in a side street just off of Camden Street. Dublin buses and LUAS are right outside our door. Bus 16 (one-minute away) will take you straight to and from the airport! We also offer an early morning shuttle (€7).

From the airport:
The cheapest way to The Times Hostel - Camden Place is the 16 bus from the airport. It will drop off outside of Centra, a 2-minute walk from the hostel. Walk back to the direction the bus came from until you see Ladbrokes betting shop on your right hand side. Just take a right turn there: we’re located on that alleyway between O'Sullivans art store (14/15 Camden St, Dublin 2) and a Ladbrokes betting shop (16 Camden Street, Dublin 2).
The bus fare is €3.05 and you'll need exact change as change is not given on Dublin buses. Journey time is approximately 50 minutes.
The express Aircoach bus provides a 24-hour coach service between Dublin Airport and Dublin city. The Aircoach bus stop is directly outside the arrivals exit at the airport and you can buy a ticket directly from a representative at the airport arrivals stop or from the driver when boarding the Aircoach.
This will drop you off at Trinity College, a fifteen-minute walk from the hostel. When getting off the bus, you should see Dublin Tourist info on your right hand side. Walk up to the Molly Malone statue and take Grafton Street. As you reach the end of the street, it will change to Stephen’s Green West. As you keep walking straight, you will pass T.G.I. Friday’s (on your right hand side) and arrive to a set of lights. You arrive to Harcourt Street (as a reference you will see the Pie Bistro/O’Callaghan’s Hotel on the corner of Harcourt. Keep walking straight and you will pass Harcourt Hotel in 2-3 minutes. Just before Copper Face Jacks Hotel turn right, go through the archway and you will see the hostel on your left hand side.
Taxis from the airport cost around €25-€35 and take about 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. During rush hour it can take up to 45-50 minutes.
From Busaras bus station:
We're located approximately 25 minute walk from the bus station. To reach us with public transportation, follow the tramline west to O'Connell Street - a five-minute walk.
From there you can take the bus 16 or 122 from O'Connell Street. Get off the bus on Camden Street outside of Centra. Walk back to the direction the bus came from until you see Ladbrokes betting shop on your right hand side. Just take a right turn there: we’re located on that alleyway between O'Sullivans art store and a Ladbrokes betting shop. The fare is €1.80 and you'll need exact change as change is not given on Dublin buses. Journey time is approximately 15 minutes depending on the traffic.
From Heuston Station
Take bus no 145 to St Stephen’s Green. When you get off the bus, walk to the direction the bus is going to until you arrive to the corner of the park. Turn right and walk along the park’s fence. You should see a set of lights now. Cross the street and you arrive to Harcourt Street (as a reference you will see the Pie Bistro/O’Callaghan’s Hotel on the corner of Harcourt). Keep walking straight and you will pass Harcourt Hotel in 2-3 minutes. Just before Copper Face Jacks Hotel turn right, go through the archway and you will see the hostel on your left hand side.

From Dublin Port
Take bus no 53 (towards Talbot Street). Get off at Beresford Place. From here it is about 25 minute walk to the hostel. The bus 53 runs once an hour from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Mon – Sat, Sunday 10:30 am – 6:30 pm, expect 2:30 pm. The fare is €1.80.
You can also take a bus no 16 (towards Ballinteer) or 122 (towards Ashington) from O’Connell Street, which is about 5 minute walk from the bus stop. They run approximately every 15 minutes.The bus will let you off on Camden Street outside of Centra. From there, walk back to the direction the bus came from until you see Ladbrokes betting shop on your right hand side. Just take a right turn there: we’re located on that alleyway. We are located the Village Quarter off Camden Street, near the best pubs and clubs. St. Stephen's Green, Iveagh Gardens and Grafton Street are just around the corner, Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral, Temple Bar, Guinness Storehouse and O'Connell Street are within walking distance.
