The owners will pick you up and welcome you at the airport.
Riro Mahute is easily accessed from the airport as well as from the city center, and can be reached by foot, by renting a jeep (available at the Riro Mahute) or by catching one of the islands cheap taxis.
It is located on the Kaituoe street (many streets on the Easter Island don´t have numbers but all locals know the names of the houses) and the exact location can be seen on the map.
Located Near
Kaituoe is located in the calmer part of Hangaroa, close to the center but not as crowded with tourists. Staying at the Riro Mahute is a great opportunity to see more of this very special village than only just the main street. Hangaroa is however small, and you can easily walk to and from the hostal to all parts of the village.
